Friday’s Summer Solstice Gong Meditation went wonderfully…our beautiful Sanctuary reveberated with Dr Kristin’s wonderful instruments. Dont miss our Fall Solstice Gong Meditation in late Sept.

Saturdays Pride event was a lot of fun; we soncerely thank ARTF & Tapestry Connection for representing us so well along with their wonderful groups!

Join us on June 19 at 6pm for a special GONG meditation session with Shasta Interfaith, the Zen Buddhist Priory and Redding First UMC. Dress comfortably and feel free to bring a yoga mat to recline on carpeted floor or lay down in our pews.

Natural light and wonderful acoustics afford a peaceful, soul affirming experience with our amazing gong musician, Kristin.

So join us and recenter your spirits as she brings a calming, restorative approach to mindfulness.

On behalf of our Youth Program and the entire Redding First United Methodist Congregation, we congratulate Lucia on her accomplishments and wish her well at Shasta High this fall!
She and her family are active members and enrich our community regularly with their time, insights and positive example!
