It's been a while...over a year since the last post. We have managed to provide the Parade Path enough love and attention for a garden of this size and significance to "present" for the season: summer on the Town Green.
Here a just a few pics of what you might find blooming on the Path at this time. Soon new seasonal blooms will appear while many will retire for the season.
Enjoy!
The "earth story walk" signs will be in place until the end of May 2023 on the Redding Parade Path. Learn about the Redding Transfer Station, recycling, trash facts & the Organics program. You can also learn about backyard composting. Click the QR codes as you walk the Path and be directed to various websites and pages regarding these topics.
Enjoy!

Lost and found: A bicycle was left by the Gazebo on the Town Green (part of Parade Path, found 9.19.22). It was found with one a flat front tire. It is now next to Town Hall--by one of the back doors facing the Green. You are welcome to reach out to Alice Smith in the office of the First Selectwoman at 203-938-2002, ext. 1.
Today was the day for Spring Clean Up on the Parade Path!
What a gorgeous day it was.
Special thank you goes to Sandi Connally Martin and the team at Redding Nursery (thank you Sean McNamara) for showing up and helping us usher in the blooms with extra love and just in time for March 20 --the first day of Spring!.
