After more than 11 years as a part of the Red Bank community, I will close the doors of The Cheese Cave on August 31st, 2022. The decision to close was not easy as it has been a fulfillment of a dream to be an entrepreneur and to do something that I have always loved - to serve people and bring them some joy through food.
I opened the shop with the mission to bring great cheese and personalized service to the community. We strived to do that from the very first day we opened and you embraced that mission. We became acquainted with all of you. We saw couples coming together and families grow through the years. It was incredibly gratifying and fulfilling to be a part of a community and call you not our customers, but our friends. The shop was our home and we saw everyone that walked through our front door as a guest in our home. We hope you felt that way too!
To the many people that worked at The Cheese Cave, thank you for joining my cheese journey and helping people seek more cheese in their life. Those cheese mongers who joined my effort with little to no experience in working with cheese, possessed the essential quality of wanting to help make people happy in small ways. The Cheese Cave could not have succeeded for over a decade without the contributions of all those that joined in The Cheese Cave mission.
I have been fortunate to get to know Red Bank’s many business owners and operators, and I strongly encourage all of you to continue to visit them and do the same.
I sincerely hope community members will continue to support the many other restaurants and businesses in Red Bank.
