So update. Im starting a new job for The Knot in two weeks and cant take the time for my own firing right after training. I plan to finish rebuilding kiln this fall and fire in spring. However I am going to be firing all the work thats been waiting at my one of my teacher Ralph Ilgenfritz new kiln. I call it the Mausoleum. Will be a 14 day firing and should be a ripper. I will have new work for sale and a xmas show coming at my property in November. Got my fitst round loader mid kiln in some great spot. Look forward to updating lading and firing as we go.

Alright so I have a wrecked kiln shed. A firing worth of pots and need someone young, and hungry to learn some wood firing. If you are within a reasonable distance from reading, pa. Willing to give me a week for your time or more and get good space ina ash only kiln. Glazes are welcome I have need of you. This could be a great long term opportunity for great space and a chance to learn a bunch about wood firing and the spirit of a kiln. I may fire this fall but I need help to get this off the ground. Message me direct call whatever. Firing may be in winter or early spring but I need to find a new firing apprentice. It's a 5-6 day slow firing. 2-3 days high fire. I need to get back off the matt and get her going again. For the more experienced here it's welcome as well but if you know of someone young and talented that could use a opportunity send them my way. No cost for wood just need commitment of time and energy for this firing. Pass this along. Finally hit a age where I can't do it all myself like a muppet.
