We extend our gratitude to Mike and Marita, friends of Mission Reading, for your second pantry clean out donation. Did you know that Mission Reading purchases the majority of the food for our weekly pantry selections? Perhaps it is time to clean out your own. PLEASE help us by sharing... Help support Mission Reading by coming out to either the Wyomissing or Exeter Redner's Warehouse Markets this Saturday, June 20, from 10 to 2, for our community food drive.

We had a wonderful turnout of 100 amazing people. Everyone who came out could choose 10 items from a wide array of choices. We put out over 1,000 grocery items. We want to thank our meal sponsors as well as Sam's Poultry from Fairgrounds market who donated chicken for today's meal. Thank you Lori and Bryan/Chris for preparing today's meal of chicken, rice, broccoli, and cheese casserole. We were able to receive a donation of ice pops which were greatly appreciated in the heat. Thank you Volunteers! See you next week friends.

We kicked off the first Sunday in June with 95 of our friends. We provided over 950 pantry items today and Heather made a homemade meal of Goulash and roll was served with an ice pop on this warm day . Thank you to our friends at One Luv Outreach who blessed us with a pallet of snacks for our future events . If you want to be blessed this summer, please ask us how you could become a volunteer or a sponsor .
