My colleague Laura Cukier Rosenthal and I recently had the unbelievably privilege of not only attending the NEISMA(North East Ice Skating Managers Association) 2023 Conference but also participating as Speakers/Educators and as Vendors. We helped to lend our safety expertise, provide FA/CPR/AED certification classes, and a vendor booth during the trade show to help showcase the many offerings available through our company. We were able to make many professional connections but more importantly we were able to make many friends in the industry which share a common philosophy & goal, provide the safest environment physically possible for athletes & coaches, there families, the general public, and all who wish to truly enjoy all that an ice skating rink has to offer.

Whether that be honest competition with integrity between hockey teams or figuring skaters, friends or family gathering to stake together to celebrate a special occasion, or those of all ages learning how to ice skate.
Contributing to the safety standards and providing certification & training holds a very special meaning that is near & dear to my heart. As a kid I spent a tremendous amount of time inside a skating rink. To be able to honor the memory & sacrifices of those who ensured that we enjoyed every second spent at those rinks, first learning to skate, then practicing & playing our games, and offer the opportunity to get extra practice if the ice was not in use is a proud
moment.
