happened. The passing of his beloved "yayita" Eladia Castro, his grandmother that raised him when he was 15 years old made a serious impact on his life. Forced him to move around from house to house under rough circumstances and by the time he ended up in a small one bedroom apartment in Reading PA, he had already made up his mind that music was his path in life. Started putting down lyrics for songs based on reality, composing and producing music and soon enough the affection for engineering and DJ equipment was a living and breathing occupation. The nightclubs around Reading PA welcomed DJ P Killa (his adopted persona) in reoccurring DJ sets and since those took off, some serious collaborations with master artists like Hector El Father, Don Omar, Alexis Y Fido and many others built up his reputation to a point he landed a few jobs in leading radio stations - XMRadio, Sirus Radio, iHeart Radio and became the host of shows on Rumba 92,3FM in Reading and also 100.5FM Rumba Lancaster. The sense of community still drives him and is the main fuel behind his drive to provide an outlet of information and inspiration to every DJ out there - thus created La Asociacion De Los Djs (https://djpkilla.com/la-asociacion-de-los-djs/), a record pool with exclusive content for producers and DJs. As the pieces of the puzzle do fall in, it couldn't be complete without the most important of all, love and family. Being a father of 5 (4 daughters and his youngest son), he continuously draws inspiration and strength from the home he made with his wife Ruthy Lopez and strives to support and provide for them, so there should never be a worry in their life.
