We're baaaack!
Hey everyone. It's been a long 3 months but June 26th we are back in a big way. We have been working tirelessly to reschedule 3 months of appts and have reached out to most of you already, and if we haven't, be patient we're getting there.
Firstly we want to thank you guys. The clients. Your support and concern during this time has been amazing. And to all of those that prepaid appts, prepaid several appts, bought gift certificates, dropped money in our Venmo and generously just gave is the reason we are still here. Those tokens of your generosity will not soon ever be forgotten.
Going forward we do have a few changes that will be implemented and they are as follows:
For those of you that do not have our personal cell numbers or fb messenger, we have a new landline number. 484-509-1377 that you can text or call.
Starting July 1st. We will be implementing a new card processing service with Square. It also supports contactless payment as well if you're one to use Apple Pay or Google Pay.
In an effort to limit the population in the salon there will be no more waiting area for appts. We ask that you kindly wait in your car and we will text you when it's your time for your appt.
We ask that you do not bring additional people with you to your appt unless they are receiving a service as well.
Please no stopping in to schedule appts. We ask that you please call/text/ FB message for scheduling appts.
We've got thermometer for temp checks, plenty of hand sanitizer and disposable masks if required, although we do ask that you bring your own mask.
And lastly the most important thing that we ask is that you PLEASE be kind and courteous to one another while you're in the salon. This virus has affected and impacted us all in many different ways and it's important to keep that in mind when you're here. We want everyone's experience to feel as comfortable and relaxed as it once always was.
Any further questions or concerns, feel free to message your respective stylist.
Now let's commence on bringing those good hair days back!! 💇♀️
I did not write this but I felt compelled to share. I miss my profession and my clients greatly.
I am a licensed professional. You know what that means? That means I went to school full time, 40 hours a week, for an entire year, to get to 1600 clinical hours, then passed a two phase exam to prove I knew my stuff. That also means every two years I have to renew my license with 4 additional sanitation hours. I am licensed to touch people. That is a privilege that very few professions have, and one that I, and the state, take very seriously. So seriously that the state comes into my salon, at random, and inspects my facilities and procedures with a fine tooth comb. There are major fines for noncompliance and they are not lenient. We are trained and prepared to protect you from infectious disease transmission from ourselves and from others. We literally train for this our entire careers. Long before you were worried about COVID-19, I was worried about HIV, MRSA, Staph, Strep, Tuberculosis and more, FOR YOU. One of the safest places you could possibly be is in my chair, with me. And now I’m being forced to stay home, because I am a danger to society. This is a joke. Grocery stores are disgusting and crowded. Lowe’s and Home Depot are disgusting and crowded. Car washes are open. Construction sites are open. Pawn shops are open. Now movie theaters, malls and museums can open! None of these places are trained to keep you safe like I am. Forcing us to close is a misguided feel-good measure that is protecting no one, but is bankrupting salon professionals, who are predominantly women, most with children. If you don’t believe me, look to our politicians and tv personalities. They look fantastic with their fresh haircuts, color and makeup! They feel so safe with their salon professionals that they are still receiving hair and makeup services. They feel like they should still be receiving our services. They just don’t think you should.
Hey there! Just letting you all know, I have officially scheduled my final appointment before I leave for vacation. I tried my best, but unfortunately was unable to accommodate every request. I'll be scheduling again for the week of May 20th and beyond. Until then, Ciao bellas! 🇮🇹
