Vehicle theft is getting out of hand locally, so I wanted to mention one of the security options we’ve been installing more of lately: IGLA.

IGLA is a hidden digital immobilizer that helps stop a vehicle from being driven away unless the correct PIN is entered using the factory buttons inside the vehicle.

The big difference is that it can still protect the vehicle even if someone has the owner’s key, clones a key, uses a repeater/relay attack, or tries to force access through the OBD port. Without the proper authorization, the vehicle should not start or drive away.

There is no visible keypad, no bulky remote, and nothing obvious for a thief to find.
