Where was Pam at today? I was in Raymore!

Public Education -

The vast majority of Missouri House of Representative’s District 56 voters are products of our fine public schools. The Belton and Ray-Pec School Districts are among the best in the state.

As an adult, I’m always eager to mentor students, support educators and listen to district leaders. For too long, District 56 has been represented by someone who didn’t attend school here and has a voting record that clearly shows his lack of support for our public schools.

With that in mind, I want to make it clear:
I will strongly support Belton and Ray-Pec Schools in District 56. I will attend their events and meetings so I have an understanding of the districts’ successes and needs. I also plan to meet and host students, teachers and administrators in Jefferson City for tours and policy discussions.

We all want better learning opportunities for ALL students, high test scores, vocational education and college prep curriculum. We want safe bus transportation and healthy meals available to students. And, for the most vulnerable students, adequate special education programs to address individual student needs.

When I walked across the stage in 1985, and received my diploma Superintendent Gordon Sunderland and Principal Mike St Louis signed, no one would have expected Pam Jenkins to run for Missouri State Representative to represent students, staff and teachers. After four decades, I’m offering to represent the taxpayers, district employees and today’s students in Jefferson City as the District 56 state representative so everyone can regain their voice in support of PUBLIC EDUCATION in Belton and Raymore!

Where was Pam on Friday? I was at Hensley Law Firm receiving our annual fire extinguisher training from South Metro Fire District’s Fire Marshall! Thank you Brett! Be sure to contact the fire department to have them come out to your business and conduct the fire extinguisher training for your staff! Let’s keep District 56 and ALL our constituents SAFE! 💜🙏💜
