We are located in Rootstown, but have a Ravenna address. We moved to Northeast Ohio during the winter of 2011 from Humble, TX. We missed our Texas BBQ for years. Then decided to bring it! We are a fast, casual dining experience. You place your order at the counter and are given a pager to notify you when to come get your order. We also have a full service drive thru. Good Friday morning! Today's lunch special is our new Cheeseburger Nachos and a drink for $7.50 until 2 p.m. This is our Cheeseburger Queso dip on 4 oz. of our house made tortilla chips. We introduced this recently and got a lot of positive comments on it.
Our side of the day is our Tomato, Onion and Cucumber salad. We have both Twice Baked and Scalloped potatoes to start the day until we run out.
Our dining room is open for seating. You can get take out at the counter or using our full service drive thru.

Sunday is Funday! Joe decided to smoke a pastrami for the store tomorrow. It's about a 5 lb. brisket so if you want it, come early. Once we run out, we are done.
We have been amazed by the demand for pulled pork this week. We dropped big tonight so you can feel free to order by the multiple pounds tomorrow.

Good evening everyone! We wanted to put out a special post to let everyone know what the latest is at Double R. We have some beautiful brisket available. We also have our Tomato, Cucumber and Onion salad as our side of the day. After the high level of interest in yesterday's Cheeseburger Nachos lunch special, we have made a small batch of our Cheeseburger Queso dip and have it paired with a half portion of chips for $2.75 while it lasts.

Happy Friday BBQ fans! Today's lunch special is our fresh and juicy smoked turkey breast sandwich, a regular side and a drink for $7.50 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Upgrade your side to our onion rings or fried pickle chips for $1.
Our indoor and outdoor dining areas are open. You can get take out at the counter or using our full service drive thru.
