The South Dakota winner of the Congressional Art Competition, Cadence Micucci of Tea, visited D.C. this week to see her artwork displayed in the Capitol. It was a pleasure speaking with her about the piece and how proudly it represents our state.

Sioux Falls has made tremendous improvements to its Sioux Area Metro services in recent years. I joined Mayor Paul TenHaken and Via Transportation to see firsthand how Sioux Falls has become a national leader in public transit.

The federal government loses an estimated $233 billion to $521 billion to fraud every year. This is unacceptable. I voted to pass several common-sense bills to stop fraud in government programs because every taxpayer dollar matters.
