Provide quality engineering support to operations ensuring consistent application of quality techniques and compliance with quality requirements.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Mechanical or Electrical or Quality Systems Management
2-5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in AS9100 QMS
Intuitive understanding of mechanical engineering processes
Experience in the electronics / electro-mechanical industry
Experience with FAA Conformity a plus
Certified Quality Engineer preferred
Working knowledge of Reliability Analysis software preferred
Current knowledge of manufacturing ISO, FAR, DFAR, ITAR requirements.

Summary
Provides administrative and documentation support to General Micro Systems Quality group by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist Production Inspectors to log paperwork into existing logbooks.
Enter data into the PCA Database.
Work with Inspectors to collect data from the logbooks to prepare/produce various reports required by Management.
File, scan, and input required data from Travelers and Test Reports
Organize and maintain Test Reports on the network for easy reference
Organize and maintain the contents of the QA network folder
Organize and maintain Quality Records in the archive
Provide assistance to the Quality Director and Quality Engineers as needed
Assist Quality Engineers and Quality managers in documenting new procedures or updating existing ones.
Organizes and maintains file system, files records, and documentation as requested
Typing correspondence, copying files, and miscellaneous tasks as required
Schedules QA meetings attend meetings and take minutes/notes when requested
Utilize Epicor and EPDM (Enterprise Product Data Management) proficiently to complete assignments and tasks
Meet schedules and deadlines on assignments with minimal supervision
Responsible for the Calibration process for all GMS equipment. Maintain Calibration list, work with departments and CM’s to collect equipment for calibration, quote and schedule calibrations, initiate Calibration purchase requisitions, and maintain Calibration files.

Education and Experience
Minimum High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with 2-3 years’ administrative experience in a fast-paced environment.
Some experience in document control/configuration management, experience with EPDM and Epicor is preferred
Must have experience working in a co-development environment with tight, customer-driven schedules
Must have experience preparing emails, written policies, procedures, reports, etc.

Digital circuit design and analysis using design tools, directing PCB layout, prototype verification using lab instrumentation and PC-based development tools, supporting manufacturing introduction and sustaining. Must be able to work in a team environment with manufacturing and various engineering disciplines including Systems, Software, and Mechanical by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Create hardware design solutions such as digital circuit design, firmware applications, microprocessor-based board-level design, printed circuit board layout, motherboard design, digital signal processing, or real-time embedded multiprocessor design
Oversee engineering life cycle of hardware products including architecture, design, and implementation
Confers with Vice President of Engineering on the writing of functional specifications
Designs product solutions and features using a hardware description language, CAD tools, and other tools as required
Primarily responsible for all schematic entry; may supervise junior Engineers on a project-by-project basis
Responsible for printed circuit board designs, and oversees printed circuit board designs on a project-by-project basis
Maintains relationships with vendors and specifies necessary parts
Makes modifications to product lines as directed by Engineering Management
Works closely with Engineering Managers in identifying bugs and building fixes
Measures project percentage completion at critical stages and implement corrective action as directed by Engineering Managers

Education and Experience
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and 4 years of experience in hardware design and implementation
Experience with full life cycle development from proof of concept through manufacturing, including digital and analog hardware design, implementation, test, and documentation is required
Experience with Xilinx FPGA's and Xilinx development tools required
Intel architecture processor design, including Core i7 preferred
High-speed digital design, including PCI Express Gen 2/3, USB 3, DDR3/DDR4
FPGA design, including VHDL and Xilinx FPGA
