Dead Broke Farm

You just never know what you're going to get when you buy a horse, but that's not always a bad thing. We bought Ariat back in October 2025. She was underweight and had a disheveled appearance, but just look at her now! And unbeknownst to us, we got more than we bargained for. Meet Luchesse. Ariat gave birth to her just a few days ago on April 22, 2026. We're so happy. We don't know who the father is, but Luchesse is destined to be a big girl. Her Mom, Ariat, is an 18 hand Perceron and really gorgeous now with more weight on her and her winter coat shed out. What a nice surprise. We got a two-fer.

We have a new addition to our farm: a pretty filly born on March 14, 2026. We're still trying to decide what to name her. She's a stunning gray and full of life.
