HOPE for SCD

goal is to help educate EVERYONE about Sickle Cell Disease, not just those affected by it. The more people we educate, the more exposure Sickle Cell Disease will receive. Our hope is that this will equate into more funding for research, education and outreach for the organizations and hospitals that are already trying to break the Sickle Cycle. In addition to our website, our long term goal is to create a Junior Ambassador program targeted at teens and young adults living with SCD (or interested family/friends in this age group) that wish to help break the stigma of SCD in Africa and India through mission trips, in-person speaking events and peer-to-peer training related to self care of SCD.
