🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇸

Today, we celebrate 250 years of our nation’s history and the enduring blessings of liberty. We are grateful for those who have courageously served and sacrificed to protect the freedoms we enjoy, and we thank God for His faithful hand of provision throughout our country’s story.

As we celebrate our nation, we also remember that our greatest hope is found not in governments or earthly kingdoms, but in our Savior, Jesus Christ. It is our prayer that the next generation will love God, honor others, and faithfully serve their communities.

A part of preparing students for life is equipping them to become responsible leaders and members in their community and in our nation.

At WCA, we teach the values of citizenship, including:

•Submitting to and supporting lawful authorities (Romans 13:1-3)
•Fulfilling personal financial and legal responsibilities (Romans 13:6-8)
•Respecting and valuing citizens who have sacrificed for the United States

This Independence Day, may we thank God for the freedoms we enjoy, pray for our nation and its leaders, and commit ourselves to living as ambassadors for Christ in all we do.

Today we celebrate and honor the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, and father figures! Thank you for the countless ways you reflect God’s love through your guidance, sacrifice, and devotion to your families.

May God bless all fathers today and throughout the year as they continue to lead their families with faith and purpose.
