B.Frazier Photography

e. It has become apparent to me that you don’t always have to travel very far in order to find a story that needs to be told. Many of my pieces tend to have a story behind them that I attempt to show through my photographs and other art. Within the past year, I have become interested in photographing damage from major storms to better demonstrate how much of an impact they have created right in our own backyard.

I have always had an interest in art, especially photography because it gives me an outlet to express myself. It has been an important aspect in my life since before I even realized this is what I wanted to pursue. I have worked, in high school, as the photographer for the school newspaper as well as the yearbook. Since starting at Barton, I realized that I belonged in the photo and design world.

While in college, I have been published in The Collegiate, Barton’s on-campus paper, and had photographs displayed in a new gallery called “Practically A Gallery” in Manteo, North Carolina. Other than published work, I have also done commissions such as engagement photos, weddings, senior photos as well as children and family portraits. I have a strong editorial style of photographing, however, I love working with clients as well. Along with working with photos, I have done design work. I hope to continue working with portrait work such as weddings and such, but I would also like to explore editorial and fashion work. Please feel free to contact me for details on a session.
