Another fellow badass DJ & promoter, Lomain & her dancefloor exist as a single entity - always bringing the vibes & connection. ✨

Based in Durham, NC, LoMain traverses across genres to forge new ones amongst the mix. She draws inspiration from the rhythmic roots of Latin and Afro music, and fuses these beats in open format with a wide array of genres from jazz to UKG to disco house to dub and beyond to stir up the energy and take people on an irresistible journey of dance.

LoMain was inspired to start DJing during her time living in South Africa when she experienced the vibrant afro house and amapiano scene, and was drawn in by the communal culture on the dancefloor. Upon returning in 2020 she launched into DJing with the goal of carrying that energy back to North Carolina, working with the underground house show collective, MAD House. Since then LoMain has spun at venues across the Triangle and abroad.

A local legend with mesmerizing genre bending sounds is blessing our Saturday with their magic 🪄

Once upon a time, a wise astrologer told Uymami that she had “daddy dom fight energy.” The Durham, NC-based DJ playfully channels that vibe on the floor with her signature culture clash discotheque style: heavy percussion, Mediterranean disco, techno and house, Jersey club and freestyle, and nostalgic global pop edits in multiple languages. Her sets are often peppered with doumbek, softening the edges with disco bell and tsifteteli. She’s also responsible for your favorite White Lotus-Afrobeats mashup. Uymami has opened twice for Reyna Tropical and has played Hopscotch Music Festival 2025, as well as at Manhattan Virgin Hotel’s Riff Raff Club. She is a co-founder of MOODBOARD with Party Illegal, the creator of the DIALED IN daytime pop-up food and music series and a newly minted resident of Sad Muse Club.
