Important Weather Update – Sunday, January 26
Due to the winter storm that moved into our area overnight, and out of an abundance of caution for the safety of our shoppers, volunteers, staff, and community, Kids Exchange will be closed today, Sunday, January 26. While today is traditionally our Half-Price Sale day, unsafe road conditions have made this a necessary and difficult decision.
We were grateful to be able to offer an additional Half-Price Public Shopping opportunity last night (Saturday from 4–8 PM), and we truly hope many of you were able to take advantage of that time. We know this sale is a much-loved community staple and that this closure is disappointing — please know that safety must come first. Thank you for your understanding, support, and continued loyalty. We wish everyone a safe and warm remainder of this winter weather and look forward to welcoming you back at our next Kids Exchange sale, July 17-19. Important Information for Sellers / Consigners
For our Sellers, the building will be open on Monday, January 26, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM for pickup of unsold items. Please note that items will not be sorted at this time, as our sorting volunteers and staff are unable to safely travel to the building tonight to complete this process.
We are actively working on the possibility of adding an additional pickup window, though this cannot be guaranteed at this time. We will update this page later as soon as we have confirmed information. Regardless, the Monday 10 AM–1 PM pickup window will be available. Please continue to check back for updates, and thank you for your patience and understanding as we prioritize everyone’s safety.

Reminders for Shopping:

1) Shopping on public sale days is FREE to anyone, but you do still need to get a FREE ticket on the eventbrite website.
Go to kxconsignment.com/shop and register to get your ticket.

2) We have a limited number of carts, but you are welcome to bring your own wagons, strollers, makeshift carts, etc to use while you shop.

Hey all, since I am getting a million questions about this. Here’s how things stand now for when wintry precipitation will start across the state. My thinking is just to get off the roads by around sunset or just after for most areas. Until then, you should be fine to enjoy your Saturday out and about or whatever you have planned!
