We also pay better for top talent and believe in retaining employees for a long time. We are seeking a junior carpenter/remodeler with some related work experience and trade skills to join our team. The primary required skill for this role is familiarity with residential construction, read a tape measure and a willingness to learn. Job experience in carpentry or other related remodeling trades a plus. Cabinet installation and customization will be a focus for this job.

Duties:
- Perform primary duties as trim and finish carpentry tasks as cabinetry assembly, installation, customization and trim out, cabinetry touch-up and adjustments, cut and install interior house
trim, etc.
- Perform secondary duties as demo, clean ups, drive a company truck, keep that truck organized and stocked, minor plumbing, minor electrical, HVAC ductwork for branch supplies and hood vent
piping.
- Learn and perform additional tasks such as LVP flooring, ๔€†Ÿle installation, shower waterproofing, framing carpentry and helping to install new structural beams, doors, windows, etc.
- Read and interpret design drawings, diagrams, and other technical documents to plan and execute carpentry tasks. READ project scopes of work.
- Install and hang interior doors, transoms, windows, install house trim
- Frame interior walls or wall openings
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure a smooth and efficient construction process
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and truck, adhering to all safety protocols
- Maintain a professional and positive working attitude and treat customer with courtesy and
respect for their home and security as it relates to Azalea Kitchens activities
- Participate in design reviews and job walk-arounds for each project. Highlight errors, trouble spots, improvements, ideas, etc.
- Pick up parts and materials as necessary, including finishes and products from our warehouse location
- Responsible for truck and it's security and your road safety

Qualifications:
- Proven reliability to show up to work, and work hard
- Some experience in trades or construction
- A desire to learn cabinets, finish carpentry, general carpentry, tiling, general remodeling including sequence and best practices, etc.
- A desire to work as part of a team and focus on customer satisfaction and efficient company production
- A desire to learn more and improve everyday
- Ability to read and interpret design drawings and technical documents
- Communication skills and tact with customers
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or apprenticeship in carpentry
preferred.
- NC Drivers License
- Excellent English (bilingual in Spanish would be a big plus)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs objects at work
