Waking up to your startups first PR and it’s in FORBES is WILD. Not only that, it’s a really important piece about the technology space and how funding is distributed that most people aren’t aware of.

It’s not about getting mad about why things are the way they’ve been, it’s about bringing light to patterns that should change and empowering everyone, women included, to have access to build because their perspectives are not only economically valuable, but culturally critical.

I chose to bootstrap SoulPod because the institutions that currently exist are not designed for the way women work or think about growth. They’re built for growth at any cost.

And that’s not what we’re about.

Doesn’t mean it’s easy, but I’m so honored to be building this with and for the awakening community 🤗🪩💙

⚡️ what are your experiences with Kundalini Yoga?! ⚡️

Kundalini yoga is a form of yoga that is unique in that it incorporates movement, meditation, and breathing exercises to awaken the energy located at the base of the spine. This yoga practice is designed to strengthen the nervous system, balance the glandular system, and increase mental clarity.

Kundalini yoga has been practiced for centuries as a means of awakening the energy within oneself and promoting physical, mental, and emotional well-being. This ancient practice involves a series of physical postures, breathing techniques, and meditation that work together to awaken the dormant energy at the base of the spine and move it up through the body's energy centers. By doing so, practitioners can experience a sense of inner peace, heightened awareness, and increased vitality.

Kundalini yoga is suitable for people of all ages and levels of fitness and can be practiced in a group setting or individually. Want to give it a try and see how it can help you tap into your inner energy and improve your overall health and well-being? Join me Wednesdays at .sf either virtually or online! 🧘

Meditation and sleep 💤 , let’s break it down!

Whether you are practicing with me IRL or through the , one thing I consistently hear is that people start sleeping deeper and longer once they get in a consistent rhythm with their meditation practice. Even for some people that have had severe insomnia. 😮

Meditation can have several positive effects on sleep and can be beneficial for those struggling with sleep-related issues. Here are some ways in which meditation can help improve sleep:

✨Stress Reduction: By practicing meditation regularly, you can calm your mind and body, making it easier to fall asleep and stay asleep.

✨ Anxiety and Worries: When you let go of anxious thoughts before bedtime, you create a more peaceful mental space that is conducive to sleep.

✨ Present Moment Awareness: Mindfulness meditation encourages living in the present moment, letting go of regrets about the past and worries about the future. This can help you focus on the immediate experience of falling asleep.

✨Improved Sleep Quality: Individuals report more restful and rejuvenating sleep after incorporating meditation into their daily routine.

✨Enhanced Relaxation Response: Through meditation, you can activate the body's relaxation response, which counters the stress response.

✨Reduced Insomnia Symptoms: Mindfulness practices have been shown to reduce the time it takes to fall asleep and decrease the number of nighttime awakenings.

✨Regulated Breathing: Slow deep breathing can trigger the body's relaxation response and help prepare the mind and body for sleep.

✨Developing a Bedtime Routine: Incorporating meditation into your bedtime routine can signal to your body that it's time to wind down and prepare for sleep.

If you are looking to build up a breathwork and meditation habit, check out SoulPod! Daily practices that build upon each other so you get plenty of space to access the full power of these practices over 3 weeks. ✨🙌🏼
