Recently, I had the honor of speaking at the Care Guide Partners PACE Veteran Connection Series. I shared my journey with fellow veterans and civilians through my topic, “Thriving After Service: A Veteran’s Journey.” I opened up about life after 21 years in the U.S. Army—overcoming obstacles, and ultimately discovering what it means to rebuild, renew, and thrive beyond the uniform.

But this time wasn’t just about me. I shared the stage with the beautiful and inspiring Ms. Kentucky, whose presence elevated the event and reminded us of the power of community and purpose. Her commitment to service and advocacy added another layer of hope to my message: we’re stronger together.
