American Axle workers vote overwhelming to authorize strike at Three Rivers plant UAW Local 2093 workers at American Axle have voted to strike over stalled contract talks after years of wage losses amidst company gains.

The vote scheduled for tomorrow is a strike authorization vote. That does not mean if the membership votes for the strike authorization that we will be striking Wednesday morning. The vote simply gives your Bargaining Committee the only tool the company fears, a disruption of their production schedule, loss of assembly quality, and timely delivery, lost market share and customer confidence.
