As strange as it sounds, this quirky tradition dates back more than a century. Originally, people would place a piece of cloth or linen inside their pantry to bring good luck, prosperity, and abundance to their household. As cold storage became available and refrigerators replaced pantries, the tradition evolved into putting a pillow on top of the fridge instead!
