After an incredible 7+ year journey, our CEO Dave Fabianski has announced his retirement from Apex. Under Dave’s leadership, Apex more than tripled in scale and has become a national leader in environmental consulting and engineering, expanded its services in water, and developed a world class staff and culture. We are grateful for Dave’s authentic leadership, unwavering people-first focus, and for establishing Apex as one of the highest performing firms in our industry. While Dave will certainly be missed, we are excited he will remain connected to Apex as a member of our Board of Directors.

We are also excited to welcome Shawn Doherty as our new CEO on November 4. https://hubs.ly/Q02WBB4l0

EP/Apex is currently assisting several municipalities with Catchment Investigations of their drainage systems as part of their Illicit Discharge Detection and Elimination (IDDE) Programs. This work involves updating asset information and the municipality’s drainage mapping, plus screening the stormwater flow when illicit connections are suspected.

As part of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Phase II Stormwater Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Permit; Massachusetts communities will need to complete these inspections of their MS4 catchment areas by 2028.

We enjoy working side by side with our clients to improve and manage their stormwater systems and to identify and remove any illicit connections along the way!
