We are thrilled to accept the 2025 Design of the Year award. Feeling very thankful for our amazing clients and community!

On January 15, we held our 2025 Annual Meeting where we announced the yearly award winners. Each year, our Design Award honors creativity, vision, and the ability to transform spaces in a way that truly enhances how people experience downtown. This year’s recipient understands that thoughtful design is about more than aesthetics — it’s about creating spaces that feel welcoming, functional, and inspiring.

From hospitality spaces to cultural institutions, their work can be seen and felt throughout The District.

This firm has worked on projects with The Atrium Hotel rebranding to Double Tree, View 21, Quincy Medical Group Foundation, The Quincy Children’s Museum, and of course, our beautiful new building at 501 Hampshire, just to name a few. These projects have elevated interior environments and contributed to a stronger sense of place across downtown Quincy.

The 2025 Design Award was given to Miles Design Co.

A little glimpse into the construction administration phase aka everything that happens between final design and move in day. There is a lot happening behind the scenes that keeps the project moving from submittal review and product mock ups to overseeing installations of every type - furniture, signage, artwork, casework, etc.

We have endless site visits and construction meetings coordinating with all of our amazing contractors and subcontractors. All of these steps to reach the end goal of a successful project!

The Quincy Country Club dining room renovation is around the corner, kicking off in the new year! The 3200 SF renovation involves the flip of casual and formal dining rooms to accommodate current dining preferences. The larger casual dining room will include a new full service bar, a gas fireplace, and a variety of seating. The formal dining room will be an intimate space with more a formal feel.

The goal for this design was for the dining spaces to still feel rooted in tradition, have a classic and timeless feel, while still bringing new and exciting features to the club. We look forward to this project kicking off and seeing the transformation!

We hired a design assistant to oversee the construction of the new office space! We hope to be moving in towards the end of the month!
