2020... was probably the hardest year of my life (hopefully). I know 2020 was the hardest year of many people’s lives. We all are bruised in many different ways.

This year, I learned to keep the people you care about close. Save their voicemails, record silly moments- it’s 100% worth capturing those seemingly insignificant moments.

I learned that sometimes love isn’t enough. Probably the hardest lesson of all. One that I’m still trying to pull the real meaning out of. But I will.

I learned that the most important person to show up for is yourself. It literally doesn’t matter if everyone you know shows up for you. You have to show up or it just doesn’t work.

I learned I’m tougher than I ever imagined. I’m learning that the most important love is the love and the space you reserve for yourself.

I’m looking forward to 2021, I have a lot of learning to do. I’m excited to do it. Im ready to put this year behind me but I also am ready to learn the lessons 2020 threw at me so I can REALLY move forward.

Shout out to my rocks. You know who you are.

My wish for you is that you finally commit yourself to the things that set your soul on fire.

Better days are on the horizon. Meet ya there 😉

Nice for what?

But seriously. Recently someone challenged me to ponder, if I could only choose one, what would I pick. Being someone who was nice, or someone who was kind.

Kind wins every time for me.

Nice feeds the ego.
Kind feeds the soul.

Nice is easy.
Kind can rip your heart out.

Nice is something everyone can be
Kind forces us to be vulnerable- and that’s difficult.

It’s not a competition, and you can certainly choose both. But if you have to make the decision to be one or the other, I hope you choose to be kind.

📯Seasons Greetings📯

Mila decided to spend some of her day getting some much needed Vitamin D.

She also needed a little breather before heading back out to catch more sticks.

Be like Mila, learn when yo go and when to rest.
