🌟 Join us on Saturday, June 27th for the opening celebration of “Demonstrate,” Sonia Boyce’s new exhibition at QM! The afternoon celebration will include a performance by Resistance Revival Chorus, an artist-led walkthrough of the exhibition, art workshops, and a reception to follow.
Schedule:
1:00 pm – 4:00 pm: Drop-in art workshops presented as part of Family Day
2:30 pm: Performance by Resistance Revival Chorus []
3:00 pm: “Demonstrate” walkthrough with Sonia Boyce []
3:30 pm – 4:30pm: Reception with food and drinks for purchase in the Unisphere Cafe by The August Tree []
This is a cross-language event, with English-Spanish simultaneous interpretation available for the performance and exhibition walkthrough.
Due to multiple events taking place across Flushing Meadows Corona Park in the late afternoon and evening, please be advised that parking near the Queens Museum may be limited. We encourage attendees to use public transportation where possible!

Join us for four weeks of creativity, exploration, and hands-on art making for young artists ages 5–13. From quiltmaking, bookmaking, and shadow puppets to papier-mâché sculpture, fashion design, black light art, and more, each week offers exciting opportunities to learn, create, and imagine.
