As I sit on the train this morning I can’t help but marvel at this Star stones are some of my favorites. It is a rare stone, the 6 star usually appears because of rutile (silk) that refracts light. Anytime your feeling low on energy star ruby revitalizes and returns your hopes that you’ve once lost or having trouble keeping up.

Fun fact: rubies and sapphires are one in the same stone. Made mostly of corundum, it is said, star rubies are so rare for ever 100 rough piece of corundum mines only one star ruby is found.

I have a few star rubies left and would love to make something for you with it, it doesn’t just have to be a ring 😉
