Job Prep Lab

Many students need extra encouragement. One way to encourage them is listen to the stories of Olympic contestants. Share them orally or record for later use. Hearing the obstacles that people have people have overcome can provide encouragement, it says that “if they did, I can too!”

If you haven't used eraser boards, they are a great way to see how students are doing. Ask a question and they write down their answer. They can either be asked to show their board to the front of the room so you can see the answer or you can rotate through the room to see everyone's answers. It keeps students involved and and you can see what students are absorbing!

This "free" positivity lesson plan has just been updated on Teachers Pay Teachers in the Job Prep Lab store. It now has a video clip that can be used with the plan. This plan can be inserted throughout several days or lessons, it can also be used as a stand alone unit. Positivity is need in our lives and this could be tagged into units that relate to communication, relationships, family and child development, careers, etc. Who doesn't want positivity in their life!!!
