Contest Update (2/19): We are aiming to complete the review process this week. We will be contacting the writers we are interested in working with in batches, with an eye towards having everything complete by Feb 28. Thank you for your patience, and your many wonderful songs!

UPDATE (1/25/26): We are continuing to review lyrics in the order they were received and are contacting writers we'd like to work with in batches. We will make a public announcement when we have finished reviewing all of the submitted songs. Thank you for your patience and stay safe/warm in this crazy weather!

Our first round of emails notifying winners for the 2025 Lyrics contest will be going out tomorrow (Thursday), January 8th, 2026.

Please note that this first batch pertains to songs submitted in early November.

Please be patient as we work through all of the submissions, especially if you submitted material in late November or in December - we are processing these as diligently as possible in the order they were received.
