Spent some time knocking on doors today. Met someone new to RI and talked about beaches.

I had so much fun downtown yesterday with the of Scottish fans. There are just so many people from Scotland here for the World Cup, and they held a parade and party yesterday. We had lots of great convos about Scotland, soccer, UK politics, traveling. Including with a Michael who moved from Scotland to the US a bunch of years ago and is having a great time at the World Cup. So much fun!

Uber and Lyft have spent years selling the promise of a safe ride home. Now, a federal amendment could shield them from accountability for sexual assault and other harms when their promise fails. That’s why I signed on to a letter with 285 women legislators from across the
country demanding that Congress do the right thing and strip Amendment 41.
