He attempts to function as a bridge for the audience between the pseudo media culture and the lived experience of live-performers and audiences. He believes performances and practices acknowledge and question what our digitized media environment is doing to diminish reality, sincere relationship, and the experience of musical performance. Writing his own music and experimenting with its performance is the vehicle through which he address these concerns.
