Last year, I made a deliberate choice.

I wanted to invest in a coaching credential program that had real academic weight, a global reach, and drew people who take this work seriously.

After researching my options, I landed on the ACT Leadership Program at Brown University School of Professional Studies. And it delivered on every count!

Coaching is relational at its core.

So it probably shouldn’t have surprised me that the most enduring part of this journey would be the cohort itself — a group of practitioners from across industries, time zones, and career chapters, all showing up week after week with the same intention: to get better at this so we can actually be useful to the people we coach.

We did the hard skill-refinement work. We gave feedback that stung a little and received it with grace (most of the time).

We logged hours, submitted recordings, and held each other accountable to a standard that matters.

Cheers to this cohort. And to this portion of the ride — I’m grateful for the opportunity to have grown alongside you all.
