ing clarinet to children through the URI Preparatory Program, and then continued through my own private studio. I try to balance the specifics of clarinet playing with music theory and history in my lessons, giving my students as much of a well-rounded musical education as I can. I encourage my students to participate in their school music programs, community music groups, and auditioned ensembles such as All-State and Districts festivals. I have taught students as young as 9 years old through adult, and one-on-one instruction allows me to tailor my teaching style to each individual student.
