In Printmaking at Pre-College 2026, students learn how to transfer, layer, and replicate their work through traditional print processes. Starting with single-color prints and progressing to multi-color compositions, students explore techniques like image registration, stencil preparation, and design refinement along the way.

Perfect for students who love drawing, illustration, or graphic design, this major offers a hands-on introduction to the power of repetition, process, and experimentation. By the end of the program, you’ll leave with a portfolio of original prints showcasing a range of approaches and techniques.

“I believe the way the assignments are structured in this course really helped me improve my creative process and understanding of my own works. In the assignments, you are required to create sketches of different compositions and be able to explain what the concepts are, which has helped me be more confident when starting my final pieces, as well as understanding of my own work.” — 2025 Student
