Shape of Rage

Pete and Bill left their previous bands and were looking to form a brand new band amidst the Covid-19 pandemic. They worked with a couple of musicians but could not find the right chemistry until vocalist Mike Daniels (Mechanical Process) joined the band in June of 2021, bringing his brutal vocals combined with unparalleled energy to the band. Bill recruited his longtime friend Charlie for months, whom he had previously worked with. In November of 2021, Bassist Charlie Safford (Black Vendetta) joined the band bringing his thunderous finger-playing bass sound to complete the band's lineup, thus opening the floodgates. Shape Of Rage has since been playing shows relentlessly throughout Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut and continues to write and record new music. It has been a big year for Shape Of Rage, which released its debut single "Into The Well" in May 2022, and a video for the song was released soon after in June 2022. Shape Of Rage premiered "Into The Well" on the national FM radio station 94 HJY during its popular "The Metal Zone" program and has since been played regularly on the show. The drum tracks at The Music Complex in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, by Rudy D'agostino, who recorded the Vital Remains album "Into Cold Darkness" at that same studio. Shape Of Rage recorded the guitars and bass themselves at their home studio. The vocals were recorded, and the mixing was done at "Redrum Studios" in North Attleboro, Massachusetts, by Jamie Gazerro, who recorded Churchburn's album "Genocidal Rite." The mastering was done by "Imperial Mastering" by Colin Davis, who has also mastered albums by Origin, Decrepit Birth, & Deeds Of Flesh. Shape Of Rage will continue building upon its success, bringing its own brand of metal to the stage and releasing more metal to the masses.
