The mission of Haven Box is to collectively support survivors of sexual and relational harm and their journeys forward. Through our core comfort box program, we aim to address unmet needs and foster long-term healing with post-crisis support services that nurture the individual mind, body, spirit and community connection.

π Together, we'll explore how poetry reclaims agency, honors intimacy, and reimagines our bodies as sacred beyond harm. Featuring work by Akwaeke Emezi, m. mick powell, Brittany Rogers, and more.

About the Facilitator:
Ren L[i]u (they/he/δ») is a multiply disabled, transmasculine poet and transformative justice practitioner working in the movement to end domestic/sexual abuse. Their artistic work takes the form of poetry, spoken word/performance, and needle felted objects and tapestries. Ren is a 2023 Zoeglossia Disability Poetics Fellow and works toward anti-carceral survivor justice as Associate Director of Communications and Outreach for JDI: the Massachusetts Coalition Against Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence.
