Q***r Bookclub is back after our Summer Break! The last Monday of the month we’ll be reading a collection of short stories titled “Fat Swim” by Emma Copley Eisenberg. Each short story’s q***r, fat & trans representation offers readers a seasonal place to swim through our inherent interconnectedness, joy, and relational complexities. This read is sexy, fiercely loving, and starkly honest. The author offers this raw, radical read as a book about “the space between the real self and the self the world and the internet reduces us to, particularly for women, fat people, and q***r people. But it is also for anyone who has ever been confused about the great mystery that is being a human being with a body.“
Q***r Bookclub is free and there is no need to sign up, just bring yourself! We’ll have drinks, and snacks available for purchase. Use your library card at or buy your book from your favorite local bookstore like or

Open art show call now open! Submissions due by 8/3 at midnight. The erotic.
The erotic as a source of aliveness-—an aliveness that connects us to ourselves and each other.
This exhibition invites us to explore:
How q***rness shapes our erotic knowledge.
Forms of intimacy, care, desire, grief, joy, and connection that emerge outside of dominant frameworks.
Q***r and trans embodiments of pleasure, desire, and self-determination.
Erotic power as refusal, softness, rage, play, tenderness, and/or rest.
Non-normative intimacies, chosen family, and q***r relationally.
Practices that resist commodification and spectacle in favor of presence, sensation, and truth.
The erotic as a site of empowerment, intimacy, and self-definition.
Reclaiming joy, sensation, and connection as political and creative acts.
We are primarily looking for 2D visual art in mediums of painting, photography, fiber arts, poetry and all kinds of print based practices. We are accepting submissions that also include: installation, performance, video, sound, text-based work, experimental practices, and interdisciplinary approaches. We welcome both emerging and established artists. Eligibility: Open to artists of all backgrounds! QTBIPOC artists to the front.
