Lily is an environmental engineering student entering her junior year at Brown and is part of this years inaugural Institute at Brown for Environment and Society (IBES) Summer Internship cohort! 💧

Her background includes PFAS detection and remediation research in the Pennell Lab as well as introductory water quality projects within her coursework. She is originally from rural central Maine and has grown up with a strong love for the outdoors. Outside of her passion for environmental work, Lily enjoys exploring her musical interests and is the president of the Chattertocks, Brown’s longest-running a ca****la group!

She is delighted to be joining the SIC team this summer to support various project efforts, including cyanobacteria monitoring, green infrastructure analysis, and community outreach.

Audubon Society of Rhode Island is seeking a TerraCorps Community Engagement Coordinator to assist with education, outreach, and volunteer management at the Stormwater Innovation Center! 💧
