U-U-U-U AHHHH! Last night, the Cape Verdean Museum was filled with Blue Sharks supporters. We cheered, chanted, and celebrated as Cabo Verde became the smallest nation ever to advance to the knockout stage of the World Cup!
The way the community showed up and showed out in support of this historic milestone reflects how deep our national pride runs. Our people’s determination last night and every day is a legacy of our revolutionary history! Join us as we continue celebrating that history on July 5th at Cabo Verde’s Independence Day Festival at India Point Park! 🇨🇻

Juneteenth is a holiday that belongs to the people. It was won first by the struggle of Black people to end slavery; it was won again by the millions of working class people protesting the murder of George Floyd.
This year, we studied the radical history of Juneteenth and screenprinted Black liberation slogans to spread the lessons of this revolutionary holiday.
Juneteenth teaches us that total freedom will only come if we fight for it. On Juneteenth and every day, it is our duty to build the movement to win Black liberation and socialism!
