The Arthur F. and Patricia Ryan Center for Business Studies (or PCSB for Providence College School of Business) is one of Providence College’s most recent and successful additions to the campus. It was officially opened in April of 2017, offering students with business majors at Providence College state-of-the-art facilities that encourage collaboration and active learning. Some of the most notable features include a lecture hall, various classrooms, three different study areas, Bloomberg terminals, a cafe, and conference rooms. Around 39% of Providence College’s undergraduate students are business majors, with Finance as the most popular major on campus, and Marketing as a close second. Management and Accountancy are also business majors students are offered (Management the fourth most popular, Accountancy as the fifth). These percentages have risen exponentially since the opening of PCSB. The award-winning facilities and faculty offer business students an exceptional education and the necessary preparation for careers in the various business fields. The motto of PCSB is “Educating for a future based on we” as the school works hard to encourage a space for business students to collaborate and learn together. @ Providence College School of Business

This is the Slavin Center at Providence College! This is one of the main buildings on the PC campus and gives the community a location to come together for a variety of purposes. It is the home for many student run organizations and clubs such as Board of Multicultural Student Affairs, the Board of Programmers, the Friars Club, Student Congress, PCTV, and WDOM. Not only this, but it is home to ‘64 Hall which is one of the biggest auditorium spaces on campus. It also has a variety of office spaces that are crucial tools for students including The Dean of Students Office, Student Activities & Cultural Programming, Career Education & Professional Development, Residence Life & Housing, Community Standards, and the Vice President for Student Affairs Administration. The Alumni Food Court is towards the back which provides an alternative food option outside of the dining hall. McPhail’s, the on campus bar, is also inside which is a staple of the school and is constantly hosting events. It is also home to the Providence College Bookstore where you can get the freshest, newest PC gear along with all the students textbook needs. You will find a Dunkin’ right next to it which is known to be a campus favorite that always draws large crowds.
