A big thank you to the students of the Mayor’s Teen Government Academy for visiting Prosper Fire Rescue!
From learning about emergency response to exploring the equipment and technology used in the field, students got a firsthand look at what it takes to serve and protect our community.
We enjoyed sharing what we do and appreciate the opportunity to help inspire the next generation of leaders. Thanks for spending the day with us!

Congratulations to Prosper CERT Program Manager Cindy Toops on receiving the 2026 Regional Service Excellence Award from the North Central Texas Council of Governments Moulage Subcommittee!
As a skilled moulage artist, Cindy creates realistic injury simulations that help first responders, healthcare professionals, and emergency personnel train for real-world emergencies. Her volunteer contributions have supported emergency preparedness efforts across the region, including a recent mass casualty exercise at Baylor Scott & White Hospital on PGA Parkway.
We are proud to see Cindy recognized for the countless hours, creativity, and expertise she brings to emergency preparedness training. Thank you, Cindy, for helping ensure our responders are ready when it matters most!
