In case you missed it at the State Fair, we’re serving today as our first Try It Tuesday!

Some like it hot, hot, hot! New menu alert! LakerMarketplace is serving shrimp with cheesy grits at our middle schools today! Also on this gorgeous tray are local watermelon radishes and colorful carrots from Waxwing Farm, and juicy grapes!

This week, we're celebrating our PLSAS Child Nutrition Services Team for their exceptional dedication in nourishing our PLSAS students with wholesome meals and fostering positive connections and assistance throughout each school day. Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools has 24 full-time, 65 part-time and 16 substitute child nutrition employees, as well as a Director of Child Nutrition Director, an Assistant Director of Child Nutrition, a Child Nutrition Support Specialist and a Child Nutrition Coordinator. We deeply appreciate their invaluable role in ensuring our students receive essential nutrition.

This Friday, May 3, is also School Lunch Hero Day. Thank you to all of our PLSAS Child Nutrition Services Team heroes!
