Happy Birthday, Amedeo Modigliani!!

Amedeo Modigliani was an Italian artist best known for his distinctive portraits and nudes featuring elongated faces, graceful necks, and almond-shaped eyes. Born in Livorno, Italy, he studied art in Florence and Venice before moving to Paris, where he became part of the city's vibrant modern art scene. Although he struggled with poor health and poverty throughout his life, Modigliani developed a unique style influenced by African sculpture and Renaissance art. He died at the age of 35, but today his expressive, elegant paintings are celebrated as masterpieces of modern art and are among the most sought-after works in the world.
