Teacher Appreciation Week? We decided one week simply wasn't enough.
We stretched the celebrations al month long because our teachers and staff deserve more than seven days of recognition for the incredible work they do every day. Throughout the month, we celebrated with the , a breakfast of Champions, burrito luncheon, and sunshine boxes filled all the pick-me-ups!
While the food and gifts were fun, the real celebration is the impact our teachers make every day, helping our students achieve things that once seemed impossible.
A special thank you to the PCDI Parent Committee for planning, coordinating, and generously supporting these celebrations. Your thoughtfulness helped make our teachers feel as valued as they truly are.
Thank you to our extraordinary teachers for your dedication, creativity, patience, and commitment. We appreciate you this month and every month. 🍎✨

Several participants in PCDI's Supported Employment program recently completed a temporary worksite project with Autism New Jersey, where they collated and packed materials that will be shared throughout Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month.
Through this project, these adults with autism are not only supporting others on the spectrum, but also demonstrating how capable, independent, and dependable they are as employees.
It’s a powerful reminder: individuals with autism are not just recipients of support—they are contributors and advocates within the autism community and beyond. 💙
👏 Join us in celebrating their hard work and impact!

April is recognized as Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month—a time to celebrate, learn, and reflect. 💙
While inclusion and support are year-round commitments, April offers an opportunity to pause and celebrate individuals on the autism spectrum, deepen our understanding, and share ways to better support and uplift this community.
✨ We’d love to hear from you: What does Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month mean to you? Share your thoughts in the comments.
A special thanks to our Social Media Intern, Olivia, for her work on our Autism Awareness and Acceptance series!
