Some questions for discussion again this week:

So much of what the biblical authors intend is missed because of the collectivist lens through which scripture was written—so much simply goes without being said. With that in mind:

What are some things in our culture that go without being said?

What are some places in the Bible that don’t make sense to us—like something is left out?

Is what’s missing perhaps something the biblical authors simply assumed we’d know?

How can we employ a collectivist lens to our time spent reading scripture?
