LLAB and PT this week kept cadets moving with purpose. PT combined Change of Command parade practice with a warrior loop run, pushing cadets to stay sharp and disciplined.

During LLAB, cadets reached major milestones by contracting and earning new scholarships. Cadets also received a briefing on the Women Airforce Service Pilots, highlighting the legacy of trailblazing women in aviation. The leadership gauntlet consisted of ORIs, FDEs, and other critical procedures to challenge cadets to take initiative, think on their feet, and finish the semester strong.

LLAB this week was highlighted by a visit from Major General Jeannie Leavitt (Ret.), who shared her inspiring journey as the U.S. Air Force’s first female fighter pilot and her experience accumulating over 3,000 flight hours. Her perspective on leadership, perseverance, and breaking barriers left a lasting impact on cadets.

The detachment also celebrated a major achievement, with over 20 Type 4 scholarships awarded, totaling $2.66 million, recognizing the hard work and potential of our cadets. LLAB concluded with a formal ORI, where cadets were evaluated on uniform standards, grooming, and military discipline, reinforcing attention to detail and professionalism.

PT matched the intensity with demanding calisthenics and combatives training, building strength, confidence, and warrior ethos across the wing.
