Update: Sherwood Families....WE HAVE POWER!!!!! Many thanks to DEMCO to working overtime to get us back online. We have staff there now cleaning up and getting ready for a limited opening tomorrow. We will be able to open up all of our locations from 8-5. This is most likely the schedule we will be following for the remainder of the week. We are watching the Prairieville area closely, and although we don't anticipate water by us...if conditions change we will have to close. Please check fb for updates.
As we are still operating with a skeleton crew, we ask that you only bring your children in if it is necessary. The floodwaters are rising by many of our staff members homes today as it moves downstream. Say a prayer for them as they make it through these next few difficult hours. We will do our very best to accommodate every family that needs it. We thank you for your patience. We saw so many families today with incredibly difficult stories and appreciate that you allowed them the opportunity to give their children respite from the uncertainty around them. If you haven't flooded and have time to clean out the attic...we have many families that would love to have that bouncy seat, or those toys or clothes that your children outgrew. If you have items that you would like to donate to help those families out, we will gladly accept them and distribute them to families in need!
