The Twisted Boot BBQ team had a pretty good showing at the 16th bi-annual BBQ Throw-down in Marksville this weekend. We took home 3rd in desert, 7th place ribs, 4th in steak, and 5th in margarita out of 48 cook teams . That’s back to back top ten ribs!
Still work to do on chicken and brisket but we will get there.

Operation Smoke Sheaux 2023 did not disappoint!
The Twisted Boot BBQ team had an awesome showing with the following results:
3rd place ribs
7th place gumbo
18th place chicken
We competed against 54 of the toughest teams from across the south.
